Trips around Southern England

There are a lot of things to see in Britain. You can go to Windsor Castle (35 kilometres/22 miles west of London) and know that the Queen is there because the flag is up (and the Queen is still alive),

You can travel some more and go to Stonehenge, about 160 miles from London to the west, and admire the prehistoric ruins, which are believed to have been constructed from 3000 BC to 2000 BC and (also) used as a burial ground, but nobody really knows for sure.

If you travel some more, you get to a beautiful town of Bath, built by the Romans (originally as Roman Baths, of course).

You can also buy the best fudge here (What is fudge? - Fudge is a type of confectionery that is made by mixing sugar, butter and milk, heating it to the soft-ball stage at 115 °C, and then beating the mixture while it cools so that it acquires a smooth, creamy consistency. Fruit, nuts, chocolate, caramel, sweets, and other flavours are sometimes added inside or on top.)

Fudge is often bought as a gift from a gift shop in tourist areas and attractions.

It's a very tranquille town, you can have a cup of coffee and enjoy the day, listening to street musicians...

There is also a little village Lacock where they shoot a lot of films (Harry Potter, for example) because of the idyllic countryside and the picturesque houses. Any village in England has a church, a pub, or both. Lacock used to have two pubs...

It has a church too

And so on ...
